T'Asia Shanice Freeman

T'Asia Shanice Freeman, a radiant light in the lives of those who knew her, was born on May 7, 2015, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She departed this world far too soon on August 10, 2024, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts family and friends.

T'Asia was a beloved child, a vivacious spirit whose laughter could brighten the cloudiest of days. She was a student at Warren Central Intermediate School, where she brought joy to her classmates and teachers alike. With an infectious smile and a loving heart, she became a cherished member of her school community. T'Asia loved her family deeply, and her family adored her in return, creating a bond that transcended the ordinary.

Her playful nature extended to her passions, where she found joy in the art of expression, singing and dancing her way into the hearts of many as a TikTok superstar in the making. T'Asia was determined and ambitious; she dreamed big dreams of entrepreneurship, envisioning a future where she would make and sell bracelets, braid hair, and create stunning nail art. Her outgoing personality ensured that she was never without companions—everyone who encountered her was made to pause and smile as she insisted they capture memories with her, always ensuring there was a picture to immortalize each moment shared.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Shanequia Montgomery; her father, Tony Freeman, Jr.; stepfather, Raheem Davis; sister, Sha’Riyah Ross-Hunter; brothers, A’ryan Garmon, Jordyn Davis, and her unborn brother, Royal. T'Asia is also survived by her adoring grandparents, Linda Montgomery (Lionell Martin), Tony Freeman, Sr. (Melinda), Shona Lockhart, and Ronny and Catinna Bunch, as well as a host of aunts and uncles including Sharon Montgomery, Shantel Stewart, Antonia Freeman, Angelica Freeman, Leroy Stewart, and Daytavious Feilds.

Though her journey in this world was brief, T'Asia will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Freeman, Montgomery, Barnes, Andrews, Davis, Bunch, and Lucas families. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Preston Williams, and her paternal great-grandmother, Bettie Jean Freeman Smith—two beloved figures who will surely welcome her with open arms.
