Shiquira S. Maniel

Shiquira S. Maniel, born on January 10, 1993, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away on December 9, 2024. Shiquira was a bright spirit whose joy for life was reflected in her love for music and the time spent with her family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, creating memories that will forever be treasured.

She is survived by her father, Teomia Bailey of St. Louis, Missouri, and her five beloved sisters: Rokeedra Maniel, Alexis Maniel, An’thashayia Maniel, Aa’niya Maniel, and Jessica Baker, all of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Her brother, Marquell Maniel of San Diego, California, also shares in the deep sorrow of her passing. Shiquira's extended family includes her uncle, Lance Maniel, and two aunts, Jeanette Butler (Frederick) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Angle Maniel of Biloxi, Mississippi. She was a loving aunt to her nephew, Jayceon Maniel, and held a special bond with her four cousins, Letha Lloyd, Shaquayla Lloyd, Bardashia James, and Keyonce James.

Shiquira was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Maniel, and her grandmother, Barbara Maniel, both of whom she held dear in her heart.

The visitation to honor Shiquira will take place on December 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi. The funeral service will follow on December 20, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM  at this location.

Shiquira S. Maniel will be remembered for her vibrant presence and the love she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the stories that will be shared for generations to come.
