Patricia Ann Freeman, a vibrant and loving soul, was born on May 26, 1955, and sadly departed this world on October 1, 2023. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

Patricia was not just a mother, sister, and friend; she was a beacon of light in the lives of many. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Walter Freeman, Jr. and Dontay Freeman, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Patricia is also survived by her brother-in-law, Wayne Freeman; Aunts, Ruthie Eastman and Debbie Griffin; and sister-in-laws, Velma Williams, Mary Freeman, and Demmer Freeman. Additionally, she is cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, grands and great-grands, along with countless other relatives including the Williams, Hatchett, Buck, Lyons, Gleese, Harris, and Brown families. Many close friends and her brothers and sisters in Christ also remain as a testament to the abundant love she shared.

An alumna of Warren Central High School, Patricia’s zest for life was evident in her connection to family and friends. She enjoyed fellowshipping with her loved ones, and her fun-loving demeanor brought joy to gatherings. Known for her honesty, Patricia was always available for advice, providing guidance with sincerity, whether the truth was sweet or tough. Her nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on those who sought her counsel.

Patricia transitioned to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her family, demonstrating the deep bonds she fostered during her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Freeman; her son, Frederick Freeman; her mother, Laura Virginia Williams; her father, Leroy Peaches; and her cherished grandparents, Albert and Jimella Anderson.

In honor of her incredible life, a Celebration of Life service will be held on October 8, 2023, at Cedar Grove M B Church in Vicksburg, MS, starting at 1:00 PM, with services ending at 2:00 PM.

Patricia Ann Freeman's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and resilience. As friends and family gather to remember her, they will undoubtedly celebrate the impact she had on their lives and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind. Her memory will forever be cherished, leaving a profound void, yet inspiring all to continue shining their own light as she did.
