Ollie Mae Ross-Harris, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away August 3,2024, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Born on June 5, 1955, in Savannah, Georgia, she grew up surrounded by love and support. Ollie attended Greenwood Public Schools, where she established strong connections that would stay with her throughout her life.

Mrs. Harris leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Celestine Ross and Tommiecenia (Ricky) Johnson; one son, Marvin (Nekki) Ross; four grandkids, Rickita Johnson, Kadeidra Johnson, Rickendrick Johnson, and Rickiyah Johnson; and two great-granddaughters, Tyla Johnson and Royalty Jonnson. Her family was the center of her universe, and she dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting them throughout her life.

Ollie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Harns, and her parents, John and Corine Ross. She also mourned the loss of her brothers, William Barcus, Otis Ross, and John Ross, Jr., as well as her sisters, Corine Wheeler and Roberta Nason. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and their memories will forever remain etched in her family's lives.

The visitation for Ollie Mae Ross-Harris will be held on August 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. A funeral service will follow on August 10, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Her life was a testament to love and resilience, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know her.
