Nina Nicole White

Nina Nicole White, born on December 26, 1975, departed this life on March 5, 2024, at Merit Health River Region. A cherished daughter, sister, and friend, Nina lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful memories and the warmth of her spirit.

Nina was a proud attendant of the Vicksburg Warren School District, where she embraced her education and nurtured her talents. Throughout her life, Nina held a deep faith, having confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Givens M.B. Church in Yokena, Mississippi. Under the pastorship of Reverend C.E. Hudson, she actively participated in the church choir, where her love for singing and dancing blossomed.

Her passions extended beyond the church as she delighted in traveling and sightseeing alongside her beloved family. The moments spent singing and dancing with them are etched into the hearts of those who loved her dearly.

Nina is survived by her loving mother, Olevia King; stepfather, John King, Sr.; father, Malcolm Davis; and her three sisters, Monica (Rossi) Gray, Tiffany (Rufus) Jennings, and Sonja (Tyrone) Reed, all hailing from Vicksburg, Mississippi. She leaves behind four uncles, Edward (Carolyn) Myles of Birmingham, Alabama, Leroy (Rita) White, Jr., of Knobnoster, Missouri, William (Chris) White of Surprise, Arizona, and David (Yolanda) White of El Paso, Texas. Nina's legacy continues through her five aunts: Rosie W. Elder of Waukegan, Illinois, Doris W. Bolden, Rita W. Hunter, Shelia (Rodney) Dillamar, all of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Pamela (Richard) King of Columbus, Georgia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

Nina was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Mr. Leroy White, Sr. and Mrs. Eddie Mae Olivia White, as well as Ms. Lorene Davis. She also mourned the loss of her uncle Robert White, her aunts Rebecca Young, Alice W. Scott, and Bertha Brown, who have all been welcomed into the arms of the Lord.
