Nigel Demel Davenport
Nigel was born on January 17, 1994, in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
He was baptized at an early age at New Mt. Elem Baptist Church and was a member of the choir and also a part of the Free Yo’ Soul Mime Ministry. Nigel never lost his faith in GOD.
Nigel graduate from the public school system in 2012. He was an honor graduate of Jackson State University.
Those Nigel leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Mrs. Lula W. Davenport; brothers, Nahshon and Ceylon Davenport; sister, Nihsha D. Burks; niece, Noel Dixon; nephews, Noah Bass and Joshua and Jeremiah Burks. Nigel will also be missed by his aunts, Emma Lorretta Warren of California; Renetta Taylor of Texas; Mary Moore, Bertha Mayfield, and Janice Wheatley, all of Vicksburg, MS; uncle, Thomas McCalpin, Jr., of Minnesota; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Nigel DeMel Davenport transitioned on April 20, 2023 at the age of 29.
