Mary Lee Blue
Mary Lee Short Blue was born in Port Gibson, Mississippi, to the late Olevia Parker Henry and the late Monroe Short, Jr.
She confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Port Gibson. She later attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Port Gibson.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Vernon (Janice) Smith of Port Gibson, MS, Gevon Smith of Alexandria, VA, and Ben (Joyce) Blue of Vicksburg, MS; sisters, Dorothy Parker of Van Nuys, CA, and Clistia Smith of Jackson, MS; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a special neighbor/friend, Helen Mallory.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
