Linda Marie Bass Larry

Linda Marie Bass Larry, born on May 5, 6, transitioned to her eternal rest on March 21, 4. A strong and vibrant presence in the community, Linda was cherished by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

A 1974 graduate of Warren Central High School, Linda continued her pursuit of knowledge at Vicksburg College, demonstrating a commitment to education that would resonate throughout her life. Her passions included serving as an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, where she dedicated her time and efforts to supporting her community and fostering connections among its members.

Linda’s enduring partnership with her loving husband, Booker Larry, spanned 40 wonderful years. Together, they created a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Linda is survived by her beloved daughters, Avis (Jason) Claiborne, LaDora Bass, Jeanette Bass, and Bianca Larry, along with six adoring grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and LeDora Bass, her maternal grandmother, Rebecca Washington, and her mother-in-law, Geraldine Larry. Their memories will forever be intertwined with the love and warmth that Linda brought to her family.

The celebration of Linda’s life will take place on March 21, 2024, with a Funeral Service at Clover Valley M.B.C. Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.

Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Linda Marie Bass Larry's dedication to her family and community will be remembered fondly, as her legacy of love and service continues to shine brightly.
