Lawrence Anthony Adams, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, this life on December 23, 2022, at the age of 56. Born on January 15, 1966, Lawrence’s journey through life was marked by his generous spirit and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Lawrence was educated at Grenada High School, where he  showcased his athletic prowess by playing football. This early passion for teamwork and camaraderie remained a hallmark of his character throughout his life.

Known for his loving and caring nature, Lawrence had a remarkable ability to touch the lives of everyone he met. He was always ready with a joke and a smile, bringing joy and warmth to his family and friends. As a devoted husband to Anita Adams for eighteen wonderful years, and a caring father to his stepchildren, A’riell La’Shanta Conner and Quin’Darius Dewayne Driver, his legacy of love is deeply rooted in his family.

Lawrence cherished the moments spent with loved ones, often inviting family and friends over to share in his passion for cooking and barbecuing. These gatherings were more than mere meals; they were cherished opportunities for connection, laughter, and the creation of lasting memories.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Adams; his two stepchildren; two brothers, Tony Adams and Tyrone (Delisha) Adams; one sister, Gloria (Derrick) Marsh; as well as four aunts, Margaret Blackmon, Arma Louise Logan, Freddeah Johnson, and Dorothy Plane. Additionally, he leaves behind one special uncle, Larry McNeil; one great-aunt, Ann Williams; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy L. Adams and Frances McNeil Adams, and two sisters, Delores Anderson and Mary Louise Adams. Their spirits will surely be united in peace.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 7, 2023, at Ardis Williams City Auditorium in Vicksburg, Mississippi, starting at 10:00 AM, with the service concluding at 11:00 AM.

Lawrence Anthony Adams leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound impact on the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.
