Frances Marie Parson

 Frances Marie Parson, born on July , 1958, in Vicksburg Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. She was a dedicated member of her community, known for her long-standing commitment to her work at St. George Orthodox, where she served for many years with great passion and devotion.

Frances received her education in the Vicksburg public school system, a foundation that helped shape her into the remarkable individual she became. Throughout her life, she nurtured countless relationships and touched the hearts of many.

Frances leaves behind loving memories that will linger in the hearts of her two sons, Larry Parson and Reio (Lakentra) Parson of Vicksburg, MS; three goddaughters, Syrenthia Barnes, Jasmine Lyons, and Essence Lyons, also of Vicksburg, MS; three brothers, Willie (Isabelle) Parson and John (Betty) Parson, Jr., of Vicksburg, MS, and George (Vanessa) Parson of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Annie Mae Houston and Dorothy Stewart of Vicksburg, MS; two stepsisters, Evangelist Carolyn (Alex) Jackson of Vicksburg, MS, and Joyce (Clifton) Harris of Omaha, NE; two stepbrothers, Willie James Locations of San Francisco, CA, and Earl Liggins of Omaha, NE; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents,  Pearlie Parson Hogan and John Parson, Sr.

Visitation services will be held on November 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. A funeral service honoring her life will take place on November 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the House of Peace Worship Church International, situated at 1301 Holly Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180, concluding at 3:00 PM.

Frances Marie Parson will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the lives she touched.
